Lindsey A. Lambert, Director

Lindsey has been at Greensboro College since June of 1999. He has a B.A. in History from North Carolina State University and a M.A. in Public History from Appalachian State University. He also has a minor in English.

Since arriving at the museum, he has performed a wide variety of tasks. (He would like to tell you about all those activities, but that would be far too time consuming.) Instead, he encourages you to imagine all the possible activities, great and small, which might be done in a small museum with only one staff member. Now multiply that number of activities by two (at the least).

Despite, or perhaps in spite of, the trials and tribulations associated with being the only staff member (full or part-time) in the museum, he greatly enjoys his work and seeing the progress that has been made.

Admittedly, he has developed a few odd quirks since beginning work in the museum, the most notable of these being that he has a tendency to talk to himself. Perhaps it is not himself to whom he is talking, but the ghosts that are rumored to haunt the third floor of Main Building. Or perhaps he is just busy delegating more duties to himself.

Outside of the museum, he enjoys reading, watching movies, collecting pottery, photography, cooking, and the beach. Without question, however, his most consuming passion is ultimate frisbee.
