Fresh from the author's heart, with all its unpruned phraseology, he knows it

Interpretive:
Dr. Deems was president of Greensboro Female College from 1850-1854. During the
middle of the 19th century, the rights of women to education comparable with that
of education for men was a highly contentious issue. What Now? A Present For

during that time frame. Considered a liberal in his time, Dr. Deems' What Now?
